Samantha Akkineni’s photo chilling on the sets of ‘Mahanati’ goes viral

It’s a known fact that actress Samantha Akkineni is working with director Nag Ashwin for the forthcoming biopic on legendary actress Savitri. While the makers are wrapping up the remaining portions of the shoot, a picture of Samantha chilling on the sets has gone viral on social media.

 Needless to say, Samantha looks adorable in the photo. Apparently, the actress plays a crucial role in the biopic, which has actress Keerthy Suresh essaying Savitri's role on-screen.

Titled ‘Mahanati’, the film is being made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, and also stars Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Chaitanya, Vijay Deverakonda, Prakash Raj and Mohan Babu. Produced by Vijayashanti Movies, ‘Mahanati’ is slated to release on May 9. Earlier to this, the makers wanted to release the film this month.

On the work front, Samantha Akkineni has many projects lined up for a release this year. The actress is teaming up with Ram Charan for the first time in ‘Rangasthalam’, which is slated to release on March 30.

In Tamil, Samantha recently wrapped up the shoot of ‘Seemaraja’ opposite Sivakarthikeyan. She will also be playing an important role in ‘Super Deluxe’, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil among others.
